As a dog trainer I specialize in behavior modification. I help people who have a real need to control and eliminate bad behaviors. If you have a dog that needs household manners or you have problem behaviors of any kind, I come to your home and teach you how to stop those behaviors so that you can live happily with your pet. I preffer this method simply because a change in the environment automatically changes their behaviors. If your dog comes to a class setting the odds of that pet exhibiting the behaviors you want to eliminate are decrease dramatically. By leaving the dog in it's comfortable setting you allow the chance for the dog to exhibit the very behaviors you want to stop. This allows me, to teach you, how to stop them.

Puppy Classes
Puppy class will consist of teaching your puppy good manners, bad behavior prevention, socializing skills, as well as commands such as 'sit,' 'off,' 'wait,' 'come,' 'no,' and 'leave it.' This class is designed to educate puppy owners in safety, prevention, and good manners, setting the foundation for a happy, healthy, and obedient dog.
Conformation Classes
Anyone interested in a conformation class to help train puppies, or just keep your show dog in the game, please contact for B matches.
Beginner Classes
Beginner One classes will be for young dogs from six months of age and up. In this class you will learn how to teach your dog basic obedience, such as loose leash walking, 'sit,' 'down,' 'stay,' 'wait,' 'off,' 'leave it,' 'come,' and 'release,' as well as socialization skills. Beginner Two classes are designed for dogs and owners that have completed Beginner One and would like to build on their skills. In this section, distance and distractions will be added to the skills previously learned. More skills will be added as the dogs learn to focus on the owner/handler and react to the commands more quickly and precisely.
Private Lessons
Private lesson are available by appointment only. Any services offered by the canine coach can be brought to the privacy and comfort of your own home. Contact for availability.
Consultation and Program Design
Consultations for problem solving and behavior modification sessions are designed for the trainer to evaluate the dog(s) and problems being experienced first hand to develop a schedule and treatment plan on an individual basis.

	Leadership Classes
	Learning basic knowledge of canine behaviors is for everyone. Whether you own a dog or live next door to one or maybe you have just walked down the street and a stray dog appeared. Everyone should know how to read canine body language, asses a situation involving dogs, control a situation involving dogs, and how to protect yourself and family members.
	Nutrition Clinics
	The old saying " You are what you eat" is also true for your dog. The more you know about proper nutrition and the benefits of a well balanced diet the happier and healthier your pet will be.
	Grooming and Hygiene Clinics
	Grooming and hygiene is just as important as nutrition to your pet. Learning how to care for your dog or puppy can greatly impact their overall wellbeing. " A well kept dog is a happy dog!"
	Adoption Consultation
	If you plan on adopting a dog, and you feel you need help matching your lifestyle with the right dog for you and your family, The Canine Coach can help. I will be glad to accompany you and your family to a shelter or rescue of your choice and help choose a dog that fits your daily requirements for a life long commitment and, best of all, a life long companion. All animals adopted from a local shelter or rescue group will receive a free problem solving and nutrition clinic from The Canine Coach. In addition, a $15 coupon will be offered for any other services I offer.
